Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Moral Anxiety Studio have announced that their illustrated text-based RPG Roadwarden is launching on Nintendo Switch. Roadwarden is an award-winning, critically acclaimed RPG, and it arrives on Nintendo Switch on August 25, 2025. Previously PC exclusive, Roadwarden is now making its way to consoles, starting with the Nintendo Switch. Its PC version was released in 2022, and since then, it has garnered a lot of positive reception both from players and critics.

Roadwarden is set in a gritty, low-fantasy world full of mystery, danger, and moral dilemmas. The game puts you in the shoes of a solitary Tom who must explore an untamed peninsula. Roadwarden combines isometric pixel art, deep narrative design, and RPG elements such as inventory puzzles, dialogue choices, character builds, and survival mechanics.

Roadwarden Nintendo Switch

Roadwarden is now available for pre-order on the Nintendo Switch eShop for $10.99 with a 20% launch discount. The release of Roadwarden is slated for August 25, 2025, except for Korea, which will follow shortly. It is already available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
