Boss #1 – N. Gin
Gin is the first main boss you will face in the game. He comes sitting in his giant robot, while the battle stage is a large concert arena. You will immediately understand how to defeat N. Gin, when he sends smaller enemies straight at you. Hit them and they will bounce back hitting the speakers. The speakers are the weak point for N. Gin and it is the main mechanic for you to defeat this boss.
Every time you break the speakers, you will have the chance to get up close to the boss and hit him once. In the second phase, N. Gin will dish out projectiles that you have to dodge, jump over, or slide under to miss. Occasionally, the smaller enemies will come at you, allowing you to use them to destroy the speakers.
Eventually, N. Gin will be weakened enough for you to come out victorious in the battle.
Boss #2 – N. Brio
Brio is the second main boss in the game, who first hurls potions on the large platform where you are. The potions send out purple waves that you have to jump over to avoid. N. Brio will also send out green gloopy monsters that you can easily defeat by jumping on top of them.
As the fight progresses, N. Brio will throw in more potions, making it difficult for you to dodge. Just keep moving around and wait for the second phase of the battle when N. Brio joins you on the stage.
When N. Brio eventually shows up, he will come as a large green monster, bashing the ground and sending out waves. After every barrage of attacks, N. Brio will tire himself out, which stuns him. This is your chance to attack the boss. Repeat the process and the battle will be over in no time.
Boss #3 – Dr. Neo Cortex (First Battle)
Dr. Neo Cortex is the true final boss in the game but appears twice in the game to battle you. In the first battle, Dr. Neo Cortex will rain down several deadly missiles that you have to dodge. Your best strategy here is to keep moving and avoiding the red indications of the incoming missile drops.
His next attack will be to send a smaller enemy that spins fast to hit you. You have to jump on top of this enemy to stun him and then allowing you to hit him again and send it flying to Dr. Neo. This attack is the only way you can defeat the boss.
In the second phase of the battle, the boss will send out many projectiles towards you, which include the round pool of green fire, and purple tornadoes. You have to dodge them completely and wait for the small enemy again. Once it shows up, hit it and send it flying towards the boss.
As the battle progresses, the fight will become tougher and you will have to navigate through the disappearing platforms and multiple projectiles. Follow the same step of stunning the smaller enemy and hitting the boss with it.
Boss #4 – N. Tropy
The first part of the battle has you riding the large slide and collecting the fruits. Do not miss any of the fruits and continue all towards the end.
When you meet the bosses again, you will have to make your way to them in the green area, which is the main stage where the bosses are occupied. To make your way close to them, you need to use the platforms while avoiding the lasers and press on ahead.
After the laser, and when you get closer to the bosses, the platforms will increase their speed. You need to slow the time down and use this to your advantage. When you reach the bosses, the fight turns into a 2D platformer, where crash has to break the red lasers from the bases. The boss will them appear and follow you with a wave, but your task here is to continue breaking the lasers. Once all the lasers and broken, the bosses are defeated.
Boss #5 – Dr. Neo Cortex (Final Boss Battle)
This is the true final ending of the game, as the second appearance of Dr. Neo Cortex is the true final boss you will face. When the battle begins on the stage, you will find the area to be shifting very rapidly, while the yellow Shoot-o-Matic platform rising from certain areas. You have to go to the yellow platforms and jump on them multiple times. Repeat this process until a smaller enemy or Assistant shows up. Like before, you have to stun it and launch it towards the boss.
Dr. Neo will try all methods of making the fight difficult for you, by shooting lasers, removing multiple platforms, and even turning them upside down to disorientate you. Your task is pretty much the same, which is to jump on the yellow platforms, wait for the assistant to show up, and hit it to launch it to Dr. Neo. Eventually, the final boss will be defeated and you will complete the story.
