Outfits are optional collectibles in Code Violet that let you change how Violet looks through the Dressing Room. They don’t affect combat, health, or story progression in any way, and they are purely for style. Violet starts the game with a few outfits already unlocked, but most of the better ones are hidden throughout the facilities and require some exploration. In this Code Violet Outfits Guide, we will show you how you can unlock all outfits in the game easily.
Outfits Guide – Code Violet
There are a total of 18 outfits locked in the game. Out of 18, you will find three of them out in the open plain sight, while the other fifteen are locked inside the Five Main Facilities in the game. These outfits are all locked behind blue laser barriers, which you can only pass by disabling them. To complete this task, you must locate the blue glass tube and destroy it.
Once you locate and destroy that tube, the lasers powering down will allow you to grab the outfit. The first time you collect an outfit hidden behind these lasers, you will also unlock the “Cat Walk” trophy. Now, we will see how to collect all 18 outfits one by one according to the level at which they are found.
There are a total of five outfits available in the Testing Facility.
Outfit #1 – Bare Necessities
Bare Necessities is the starting outfit Violet wears when the game begins. It is available by default and does not require any exploration.
Outfit #2 – Tech Queen
Tech Queen is your first hidden outfit and is locked behind a blue laser grid located in the hallway connecting the Waiting Room and the Southern Corridor.
To disable the lasers, head into the Security area nearby. After reaching the wider section at the end of the hallway, deal with the Raptor roaming the area. One of the side rooms on the north contains some Mites and a blue glass tube positioned high near the ceiling. Shooting this tube will power down the laser grid and give access to the outfit.
Outfit #3 – Smart Suit
The Smart Suit is part of the story and cannot be missed.
In the R&D room, equip the Black Light and move away from the direction you entered. The light reveals moving lasers that will hurt you if touched, so wait for safe openings as you pass through. At the end, you will encounter a laser wall blocking your progression.
Look up to the ceiling to spot a glowing green glass pipe and shoot it. Once destroyed, all lasers shut down, allowing you to collect the Smart Suit from the display case ahead.
Outfit #4 – Breathless Beauty
Breathless Beauty is hidden behind a blue laser grid inside the Lobby.
To remove the barrier, visit the Emergency Monitoring room. Inside it see the medical bays on the left side of the room to find a glowing blue glass tube. Destroying it will disable the lasers back in the Lobby, making the outfit available.
Outfit #5 – Dino Hunter
The Dino Hunter outfit is locked behind a laser grid inside the Cargo Wing, which is just south of the Laundry.
Inside the Laundry room, look toward the right side near the washing machines. A blue glass bulb is tucked into the corner. Once broken, it shuts down the nearby laser grid and unlocks the outfit.
Next, there are a total of three outfits that you will find in the Preservation Facility.
Outfit #1 – Lady in the Red Dress
This outfit sits behind a blue laser grid in the hallway linking the Preservation Hub and the Incubator.
To disable the barrier, enter the Plasma Heating Control room. And then look above the door that leads back toward the Raptor Exhibit, where a blue glass tube is mounted. Shooting it will turn off the lasers.
Outfit #2 – Vintage Sweater Girl
Vintage Sweater Girl is protected by a laser grid in the hallway leading south toward Meat Curing.
The matching glass tube is inside the Meat Storage room. Although the room appears empty at first, check the southwest corner of the wall to find the tube and destroy it to remove the laser barrier.
Outfit #3 – Ba Donka Donk
This outfit is found shortly after entering the Thermal Regulation Wing. After defeating the Dilophosaurus in the hallway, you will notice a blue laser grid nearby.
Continue down the hallway and enter the southern room. Before crawling through the low opening on the right wall, look above the door leading back to the hallway. The blue glass tube is located there and will disable the lasers once destroyed.
There are a total of three outfits available in the Communications Facility.
Outfit #1 – Life of the Party
Life of the Party is hidden behind a blue laser fence inside North Com 1.
To access it, first complete the lever puzzle in the Cinderline Power room, which unlocks a southern control room. As soon as you enter this room, look above the doorway to spot the blue glass tube and shoot it.
Outfit #2 – Not Fast, But Furious
This outfit is located behind a blue laser grid along the western wall of South Com 1.
The glass tube controlling it can be found in the second Cinderline hallway. As you head north toward the keypad memory puzzle door, look above the doorway just before it to spot the tube. Destroy it to get the Not Fast, But Furious outfit.
Outfit #3 – Girl, Hold My Poodle
Girl, Hold My Poodle is hidden in the South Storage room behind a blue laser barrier along the western wall.
To disable it, enter the Server Room and search the northeast corner of the ceiling. The blue glass tube is mounted high above and needs to be shot.
There is a total of three outfits that you will find in the Bioengineering Lab.
Outfit #1 – Wild Thing
Wild Thing is located in the main lobby area, near a section blocked by red lasers. Turn left from the blocked path to find a blue laser grid.
The controlling tube is in the hallway leading to the Storage room. From the upper stairs, look above the lower doorway to locate and destroy the tube.
Outfit #2 – Sugarplum
Sugarplum is found in a hallway south of the Hydro Lift, directly opposite a locked memory puzzle door.
To disable the blue lasers, enter the Hydro Lift room. Retract the bridge, rotate the platform, and lower the lift twice until it reaches the lowest level. From there, face the northern wall to spot the blue glass tube.
Outfit #3 – Argh, Black Tides
This outfit is hidden near the entrance to the Hybrid Factory Hall, protected by a blue laser grid.
The matching glass tube can be found in the Clone Monitoring room. Look high up in the northwest corner of the wall and shoot the tube to unlock access.
There is a total of three outfits that you will find in the Disposal Facility.
Outfit #1 – Great Jeans
Great Jeans is located behind a blue laser grid on the west side of the Waste Flow room.
At the end of the Waste Processing area, you will find a small control room. The glass tube is inside this room. Enter it and look for the drainage terminal, and after finding it, take a right and look in between the large metal cylinders for the small blue glass tube.
Outfit #2 – Huntress
The Huntress outfit sits between two sets of invisible lasers in a flooded hallway. Use the Black Light to see and safely pass through them.
The glass tube is inside the first Coolant Room. After defeating the Crocodiles in the area, check the southeast corner of the wall to find and destroy the tube.
Outfit #3 – Be A Legend
Be A Legend is hidden behind a blue laser grid on the northern wall of a larger room beyond the Coolant Rooms.
To disable it, unlock and enter the Storage room by completing the keypad puzzle. Inside, look in the southeast corner to find the glass tube mounted on the wall.
Starbridge Outfit
Outfit #1 + 2 – Purrfectly Cat’s Meow + Biker Chick
These two outfits are found together without any laser barriers. From the Starbridge main hall, take the stairs on the right side while facing the Dressing Room. At the top, enter the painting studio. Check the two tables near the windows to collect both Purrfectly Cat’s Meow and Biker Chick.
