Chronos: Before the Ashes Dreamer Final Boss Guide
Below we have detailed how to beat the final boss in the game called the Dreamer.
How to Defeat Dreamer
When you first meet the Dreamer and get transported to the area with the large dragon, you will start the fight after a short speech by the boss. You can prepare yourself beforehand by taking in plenty of healing items, while a shield and axe will do you good in the battle itself.
The Dreamer is a tough boss to fight against, but you are always in a better position if you are up close to the dragon, and always moving around to its sides. The dragon is pretty slow to respond but has a few attacks to keep its head pointing towards you.
When you get close to the boss, always move to either side of its body and attack its back legs. This is the best way to deal damage to the boss while avoiding most of its dangerous attacks. When you move around, the dragon will be slow to turn with you but will either slash its arms to get you or snap with its jaw to catch you with an attack. Both these attacks can be blocked or dodged, but your aim should always be to end up close to the dragon, and facing its back legs to hit a couple of times with the axe.
Don’t hit the boss with charged attacks as these are pretty slow and will allow the boss enough time to face you. You have to avoid facing the boss directly, as this triggers it to bring out its heavy attacks.
Each time you deplete the boss’ block of HP, it will fly away, and return by flying around you a couple of times and breathing fire in a straight line. This attack can be dodged easily and should give you plenty of time to heal up in the meantime. The Dreamer will then return after the flying, where you basically can repeat the whole dodging and attacking all over again.
