A new trailer that was released recently for Call of duty: Black Ops 4 introduced its battle royale mode. The trailer also gave out the name of the map as Blackout. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be launched for Playstation 4 , Xbox One and PC users.

The gameplay trailer was filled with a ton of information in a very short video. It showed the classic battle royale style gameplay that users are more familiar with. The mode will feature vehicles, boats, helicopter combat along with plenty of explosions.

Typical of any battle royale game, a storm around you encircles the map that shrinks smaller and smaller as the round progresses. Outside in the storm, the place is filled with zombies who can affect your health and strategy. A picture of the map was also released that you can see below

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

A true celebration of the series, Blackout features fan-favorite characters, weapons, and iconic parts of classic maps, all in the largest map in franchise history complete with land, sea, and air vehicles.

Activision and Treyarch have announced with the trailer that players will get their chance in trying out the Blackout mode in a private beta that will begin on September 14 on Xbox One and PC. While the Playstation 4 players get it early on September 10. If you want to try out the beat, you can pre order the game to access the private beta version of the game.

Information about the player count in blackout will be a total of 80 players total per round. The developers emphasized that quality matters over quantity and that having 80 players in the map would be effective in the type of gameplay Blackout provides.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 releases on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 12, 2018. The game will feature returning modes such as multiplayer and an expanded zombies experience. However, the game will not feature any single player campaign, rather players will find themselves in solo missions that each focus on different Specialist character.
