Endings Guide – Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
Our Bloodstained Endings Guide will help you unlock all of the endings in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Good Ending
This is the best ending for the game. For this, you must first find Zangetsuto which is a required item for you to reveal the final boss. This item is located in the Oriental Sorcery Lab. To access this lab, head to the top of the vertical room in the area where the entrance is located. To cross the hallway filled with spikes here, you will need Craftwork, Invert and Spike Immunity.
To obtain these items, you will be required to complete their respective requirements. Craftwork is obtained from the Dian Cecht Cathedral boss. Next, get the power to sink and walk in water by defeating the boss in the Hidden Desert. This will allow you to reach the Inferno Cave where you must defeat its boss to obtain the Invert.
For Spike Immunity, you will need the Aegis Plate. It is found in Towers of Twin Dragons. The easiest way to get there is by taking the elevator down and then invert to fall at the top of the tower. Once you get to Oriental Sorcery Lab, defeat the enemies until you reach the boss Zangetsu. Defeat him and you will get the Zangetsuto. Now that you have the weapon, head back to Hall of Termination to face Gebel.
Equip your new weapon Zangetsuto and start the boss fight. During the fight, keep a lookout at the moon. When it turns red, attack it with your weapon and Gebel will be free from the control of the demon Gremory. Your final boss is Gremory which must be killed to get the good ending. Once the fight is over, head to Garden of Silence where you must enter the red hallway above the carriage.
Attack the red moon and it will create a portal to the Den of Behemoths. Enter this world and find Alfred. Once you do, interact with them and continue on to the Glacial Tomb where you will come face to face with the demon Gremory. Kill the boss and you will unlock the good ending.
Bad Ending
After you have acquired the Zangetsuto, during the boss fight with Gebel, do not attack the moon when it turns red but instead, keep attacking Gebel and kill him. This will unlock the Bad Ending of the game.
Weird Ending
There’s also another ending that simply shows Game Over. When you can get to the battle of Gebel, do not collect anything rather head straight to the boss fight with Gebel and kill him. This will simply show you a screen Game Over.
