How to Beat
The best way to prepare yourself for this boss fight is to make sure of two things. The first is to unlock the Adrenaline general Perk which will reduce your damage intake, while the second is to increase the range and accuracy of your weapon. This is because you will be shooting from a distance at small weak point targets on the boss’s legs and forehead.
When you are ready and begin the boss fight, never stay in one place but keep driving the Googlide around the boss. Keep lapping the boss around in circles, as this will help you avoid most of its attacks, especially the water waves. Another reason to circle around the boss is to shoot the weak points on all four legs of the Porky Puff. These weak points require a good ranged and accurate weapon because of your constant movement
Shoot all the four weak points one by one and the Porky Puff will collapse on the ground. This will bring up one more weak point on its forehead that you have to shoot. Upon shooting this last weak point, you will have a small window of attacking the boss as much as you can by firing on his head. The Porky Puff will then stand up back on its feet and continue the fight with the same repeating attacks.
Occasionally, the boss will dig itself in the ground, poke out its tail, and chase after you. You need to avoid this attack as this can take you out with just a couple of hits.
Once the health bar has depleted enough, the second phase will begin. This is where you will be on your feet when facing Porky Puff. This is a quite tough phase simply because of the boss’s powerful attacks. But with a similar strategy of running around the boss will keep you safe. Another reason to run around is to get to the boss’s back, which is the weakness in this phase. Porky Puff will be quick to face you, which is why you will find yourself running around to get behind it.
