This Baldur’s Gate 3 Fast Travel Guide will show you how you can fast travel in the game. With a map as large as the one in Baldur’s Gate 3, learning how to fast travel across the large map should be your first priority.
Fast traveling is pretty simple if you know how to unlock it. Let’s take a look at what you need to do in order to fast travel from one point on the map to the other.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Fast Travel Guide
Below, we have detailed how to unlock fast traveling in Baldur’s Gate 3.
How to Fast Travel
The only way you can fast travel in Baldur’s Gate 3 is by activating and using Waypoints. These are purple whirlpools on your map that you need to go to and activate when you find one. Once activated, the Waypoint will allow you to travel from this activated waypoint to the other.
While their general location is highlighted on the map, the Waypoints are somewhat hidden, and you have to locate them. Waypoints look like runes inscribed on rocks and walls, but are glowing in appearance. Once you find one, get close to it to activate it, and you will unlock this general area where you can fast travel to.
This also means that you will have to unlock all the Waypoints by going to them once and activating them. This ensures that you have the entire map with all the possible fast-traveling locations at your disposal, allowing you to fast travel wherever you want.
