Creating your distance here is key, which is why using a bow to attack is your best option to deal damage. The second phase of the boss fight is indicated by his weapons that he will now produce. His attacks will be slow but devastating if you get caught with a hit. When the red indicator pops up, be ready to dodge or back off as far as you can. However, dodging here is the best option for you to counter-attack as the boss will be vulnerable after the heavy swing.
Another attack in the second phase is when he leaps at you with the axes, which is another attack that you must dodge and miss at all costs. In the final stage, when Kjotve’s health reaches 25%, the fight will take place in a tighter setting, making it difficult for you to create space between the two of you.
