Ark Genesis Part 2 Canoe Guide – How to Get, How to Craft, Uses

Ark Genesis Part 2 Canoe Guide

This Ark Genesis Part 2 Canoe Guide will show you how you can get a canoe in the game, how to craft it using the required materials, and how you can use the canoe in all different ways.

The canoe is a quick way for you to traverse on water. It is a pretty simple item that you can craft once and store in your inventory, ready to be taken out whenever you want. It can be used to carry three players including yourself, and it has storing space where you can store raw meat which decays much slower than when it is in your inventory.

The canoe also has a lot of space you can put in items, which makes sense since you will be using it to reach areas and returning with more loot or items.

Below we have detailed how to get a canoe and what materials you need to craft it.

How to Get and Craft a Canoe

The Canoe can be unlocked when you reach Level 8 in your engrams. The canoe details that it needs 10 Engram Points. Once you are set on that front, you need to craft it using the following materials:

  • 250 Fiber
  • 75 Hide
  • 350 Thatch
  • 75 Wood

With all the materials in hand, you can craft a canoe in your inventory. Once you have done that, you can go to any location with water around, select the canoe and spawn it out in the water.

The Context Wheel allows you different options for the canoe, which include changing seating positions on the canoe, access the canoe’s inventory, demolishing it, or picking it back up.

The description of the canoe mentions that it spoils food much slower than when it is in your inventory. The time duration before the food spoils works the same as in the Preserving Bin, but the canoe comes with the advantage that it does not require Sparkpowder.
