Piccolo Studio and Untold Tales have released a new trailer for the upcoming Arise: A Simple Story on Nintendo Switch detailing platform-exclusive features. Arise: A Simple Story Definitive Edition is launching on Nintendo Switch on April 28, 2022, and it will bring this beautiful little adventure to players who were previously unable to play on the Nintendo Switch console.

For its launch week, Arise: A Simple Story Definitive Edition is giving a 50% discount on its full price of $19.99. Arise: A Simple Story is a 3D time manipulation narrative adventure where you embark on a journey about happiness and hardship, joy and sorrow. The story hits close to home to many players as it goes through the loss of our closest loved ones and how we remember them.
The gameplay of Arise: A Simple Story includes manipulating time to solve puzzles and reshaping surrounding to progress into the bittersweet recollections of a past life and see how loved ones’ lives can be shaped by the presence of a soulmate. Each level in the game is a metaphorical representation of the stages of life and how our memories shape these recollections.
Arise: A Simple Story Definitive Edition was announced for Nintendo Switch earlier this month. Previously, it was released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC where it was critically acclaimed both by players and critics. Now, the game is finally heading to Nintendo Switch as well. After this, we can expect a current-gen release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S as well but there is no word on that at this point.
