Anzu Partners with Virtuverse for In-Game Ads in the Sci-Fi Adventure

Virtuverse

Anzu has announced their partnership with the game developers of sci-fi adventure Virtuverse for in-game advertisement. The partnership will allow Anzu to display non-intrusive video ads into the game.

If you are a fan of the third-person MMORPG, you will notice the new ads with new blended banner and video ads in the animated fantasy game. Any advertisers who are looking to connect with gamers in North and South America, Europe, and Russia can benefit from the ads in the most active regions for the game.

Virtuverse is a game where gamers spend an average of six and a half hours of playtime each session. While they explore the futuristic worlds of the game, they will seamlessly encounter video and banner ads which will be non-intrusive to their gameplay experience. The banner ads will be taken up on billboards, which will naturally fit in the futuristic game.

Virtuverse is a free-to-play game that was first released back in 2018 in Early Access. The developers have been adding a lot of new content while listening to player feedback over the years. The creators of Virtuverse are committed to keeping the game free while supporting its costs through the blended in-game ads. This is a win-win situation for all three parties involved, including the players.

Instead of paying $60 for a game, players are more attracted to a free-to-play game that keeps getting new content and fixes over the years. It only makes sense that the developers get something in return to keep the game alive, while not actively asking the players for any money. In-game ads are truly non-intrusive and have been on the upward trend in recent times.

Co-founder and CEO of Anzu, Itamar Benedy had this to say about the partnership,

Gamers won’t tolerate disruption anymore so we created a solution that works for them, game developers, and advertisers. people were unsure of how video and banner ads could be harmoniously blended into an animated game, but we are happy to prove them wrong through our partnership with Virtuverse.
