Anzu Expands Partnership for In-Game Ads in Axis Games eSports League

Anzu and Axis Games have announced an expanded partnership that will allow Anzu to display ads in Axis Games’ upcoming eSports League. Axis Games is the developer of the popular football game Axis Football and has recently formed the Axis Football eSports League. As part of this expanded partnership, Anzu will now display ads during a live eSports event.

This is the industry’s first partnership of this sort and sets a new standard of how live ads can enhance eSports events. Anzu has now access to the Axis Football eSports League and will run programmatic campaigns on PC during the live eSports event. Their original partnership was signed back in July 2020, when Anzu entered the agreement to show in-game ads during the matches of Axis Football for more realistic gameplay experience.

Commenting on the expanded partnership, Danny Jugan, Axis Games’ President said:

All of the Axis Games eSports League matches will be streamed on Twitch and Youtube complete with live commentary. With Anzu’s integration, fans will get to see real in-game ads increasing their immersion while advertisers will get access to essential metrics from the streaming platforms, including total views, geolocations, and concurrent viewership statistics.

Apart from this, Anzu will also help the advertisers a platform with detailed campaign analytics and user data along with precise ad viewability metrics through its ad verification solution. Anzu CEO and Co-Founder, Itamar Benedy further added:
