Anzu Announces Appointment of Video Games Veteran Jürgen Goeldner As Strategic Advisor

Anzu has announced the appointment of video games veteran Jürgen Goeldner as its new strategic advisor. Jürgen Goeldner will bring a wealth of experience to Anzu as he takes on the role of the company’s new strategic advisor role from a career where he led and shaped many of the world’s best-known studios. Jürgen Goeldner will help Anzu grow in the premium video games industry as a leading in-game advertisement platform.

Over the past few years, Jürgen Goeldner has worked with some of the biggest names in the video games industry such as Square Enix, Eidos, THQ Nordic, and Focus Entertainment where he served as CEO from 2018 to 2020. Anzu’s EVP of Business Development, Guy Ben-dov commented on the appointment:

At Anzu, Jürgen Goeldner will join a well-rounded team of strategic advisors which includes names like Founding General Partner of BITKRAFT Ventures Jens Hilgers, Ex-Global Chairman and CEO of Y&R, Global Marketing, and Comms Executive and author David Sable, Whalar CMO Jamie Gutfreund, Former VP Sales & Distribution Strategy at Take-Two Interactive David Cox, Krishan Bhatia, President, and Chief Business Officer at NBCUniversal, and Tom Simpson, former AdColony SVP who joined last month.

 

 

Jürgen Goeldner also added on his appointment as a Strategic Advisor for Anzu:

Previously, Anzu announced that it is teaming up with Istanbul Grand Airport to teach kids about autism in Roblox. Other partnerships of Anzu include companies like Slappyball, Dakar Desert Rally, Roblox, Razor Edge Games, World Cricket Championship, Poster Sticker, and Virtuverse. Anzu is also the first in-game advertisement platform to join Unity’s Verified Solutions Partner Program and back in February, the company announced a $9 Million funding to expand its in-game ad platform.
