Indie game development studio Gamera Interactive has announced the launch of the massive Winter Update for their flagship title Alolath – Champions of the Four Kingdoms. Alolath – Champions of the Four Kingdoms was launched in Early Access on PC via Steam back in June and since then, the game has been getting regular updates similar to the latest Winter Update. Fans playing the RPG can look forward to seeing tons of additional content in the game for free when they update their game and jump back into it.
With the new Winter Update, players will find over 30 new locations in the game along with 10 new quests, 2 new mobs, 3 new boss fights, and over 10 new quests. The developer has also added the highly requested features by the community, Hardcore, and Permadeath modes to the game. Both of these game modes are available in the game after a successful run and will offer a new level of challenge to players. A new shrine of the god of Death is now available on the map as well. Gamera Interactive has shared an extensive changelog on its official Steam page where you can read about everything coming in the new update in detail.
Alberto Belli, Game Director commented:
We are so excited to be able to deliver this truly massive content update to our loyal fans with this Winter Update for Alaloth. I am so proud of the hard work of our development team in being able to over-deliver on our promised content with this update. Our community has been amazing in offering valuable feedback on the future of Alaloth. We have listened and worked tirelessly to deliver an update deserving of all the champions battling for survival in our high-fantasy game world.
Ever since the title’s launch, the game has won several awards such as the Best Hardcore category at the Indie Development Awards at Game Connection, Best Indie Game, Best Game, Best Visual Art, Best Role Playing Game, and Best Game Direction in the PC Game category at the Nyx Game Awards.
