As explained in the official press release, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is nearly complete and will spend some time in Early Access so that the developers can polish the final form of the game with the help of player feedback. Starting Day One, players will find three unique biomes in the game, each with unique enemies. You will find 120 relics to collect and sell in your shop. You will be free to set prices, serve customers, customize your space, and experience most of the story.
All of this is built around an updated combat system featuring four main weapons, nearly 100 shop and dungeon perks, and a smoother, improved feel. Probably the biggest difference between the first game and the upcoming second game is that the first was 2D, and now Moonlighter is in full 3D. This will give fans a fresh, new look with expanded gameplay mechanics and plenty more locations to explore.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will launch on PC via Steam and Windows Store in Early Access on October 23, 2025. If you are interested in trying it out during its development phase, head over to its official Steam page and add the game to your wishlist right now to stay updated on all future news.
