The armor is the Bracer that allows Amicia to recover faster after being attacked by enemies, giving you more confidence in close-range combat or taking on more than one enemy at a time.
A Plague Tale: Requiem Guide
The Windmill puzzle is pretty easy to solve once you reach the location in Chapter 9. You will find 4 windmills close to each other in a single line. This single-line positioning of the windmills is where the whole puzzle lies. For the secret location to open up, you need some windmills to keep running, while others need to be stationary.
Although you can find the clue nearby, you don’t need to worry about it, instead, head on to the windmills to solve the puzzle. The puzzles will be numbered in roman from I to IV, right to left. The solution is to have Windmill I and II to be stationary, while III and IV need to be running.
This means that you need to head inside some of the windmills to use the crank and control their movement. Windmill I can be accessed straight from the main door, where you can enter and use the crank to stop the windmill.
The second windmill can be accessed through a small home in the back, blocked by some barrels. The barrels will be tied with a rope that you can pull to remove the barrels.
The third windmill has a platform that you can climb using the ladder, followed by using the sling to open the door from the inside. Finally, the last Windmill IV can be accessed with its main door.
When you complete the puzzle, you will now have access to a secret cave containing the treasure and the secret armor. Walk all the way to the back of Windmill I, and behind it will be a path with three stone archways. Immediately after the third archway, turn right and you will find access to the cave. The cave system goes in quite deep, but you should just keep on the main path which will eventually lead you to the armor.
