Best Base Locations Guide – Palworld 1.0
The locations below are arranged in order, starting from the closest to the starting zone to regions that are better suited for mid-game players. Your choice of locations purely depends on what materials you need most, as each base offers different resources.
Base Location 1: Ore
The coordinates of the first location to build a base are 4, -526, which is west of the starting area. This location is especially suitable for newer players because the nearby Pals are only around Level 12, which makes the area safer than other locations.
There are several Ore deposits here, along with enough flat land to build a base. Positioning your base between the upper and lower resource nodes will allow your Pals to gather materials from both sides. Moreover, there are two dungeons nearby at this location, which gives you quick access to extra rewards without traveling far from your base.
Base Location 2: Ore and Sulfur
The coordinates of the second location are -250, -464. The enemy levels here are low as well; they range from Level 12 to Level 15.
This area, along with Ore, Sulfur, and Stone deposits, also offers a large amount of open space. If you are an early player and want to expand your crafting options, this location can be the one, as it offers multiple resources in one place.
Base Location 3: Coal and Sulfur
You will find this location at coordinates -240, -380. This area contains Coal, Sulfur, Stone, and plenty of nearby trees for gathering Wood. This location has a dungeon just behind it and also is close to the watchtower, which makes it a solid option in the early stages of the game.
Base Location 4: Coal and Ore
The coordinates for the fourth location are -151, -331. This location offers resources like Coal, Ore, and Stone, and also has enough area to easily build a base. Moreover, a dungeon is also located just behind the resource area.
But it should be noted that the enemies in this location are strong, with their level ranging from 18 to 25. So you must be well equipped.
Base Location 5: Coal and Ore
The fifth base location that is recommended has coordinates 167, -220. This area offers several Coal and Ore deposits, but the main plus side of this location to build a base is that it has a substantial amount of available building space. Instead of having just one flat area, there are multiple nearby spots where you can establish a base, which depends on which layout you prefer. This is a great choice to build a base if you’re looking for flexibility while keeping valuable resources nearby.
Base Location 6: Ore and Sulfur
The next location has the coordinates -342, -201, which is near the fast travel point. Here you can find Ore, Sulfur, and Stone deposits throughout the area. Like the previous location, this area also has plenty of open ground for construction. Moreover, this area is surrounded by cliffs, which makes it a naturally protected area against enemy raids, as they can only approach from one direction, making the base defence much stronger.
But it is to be noted that Pals here range from Level 20 to Level 30, so this location is more suitable for you once you have progressed in the game.
Base Location 7: Pure Quartz, Ore, and Sulfur
This base is among the strongest mid-game bases and has coordinates 31, -45. It contains Pure Quartz, Ore, Sulfur, and Stone nodes that give you access to several valuable resources in one place.
There are also multiple Dungeons nearby. One is located north of the main base area, while another can be found beyond the nearby hill. There is also an additional buildable area on top of the hill if you require more room.
Base Location 8: Pure Quartz and Ore
The next location is located at coordinates 212, 133. This location has a very large open area and contains Pure Quartz, Ore, and Stone deposits. You can also find an Effigy on the backside of this area, which is worth collecting while setting up your base.
There is also some natural protection from enemy raids because of surrounding terrain.
Base Location 9: Sulfur, Ore, and Pure Quartz
Now moving onto the second-to-last location, which has coordinates of 285, 94. Players who are entering mid-game will find this location more suitable as it provides access to Sulfur, Ore, Pure Quartz, and Stone. A Dungeon is also located just north of the area, making it convenient if you regularly farm dungeon rewards while gathering resources.
Base Location 10: Pure Quartz and Coal
The last recommended location is positioned at 151, 150. This area has enemies that go beyond Level 30 and is the most advanced area of all. It contains many valuable resources like Pure Quartz, Coal, and Stone.
You can also find a Hacking Tower and Dungeon nearby. You may also see a Black Marketeer and an Effigy appear toward the far end of the area, although the Black Marketeer is not confirmed to be a guaranteed spawn.
Which Base Should You Choose?
Choosing your base totally depends on your goal. For beginners, the first two locations are recommended as they are the safest locations with low enemy threat, and Ore can be accessed easily there. Ore. As you progress, bases that include Coal, Sulfur, and eventually Pure Quartz become much more valuable for crafting advanced equipment.
