Resident Evil Requiem BSAA Container Locations Guide – How to Unlock, Get Keys

Resident Evil Requiem BSAA Container Locations Guide

This Resident Evil Requiem BSAA Container Locations Guide shows all the locations where you can find and open BSAA containers. In Resident Evil Requiem, there are three special BSAA Containers hidden in East Raccoon City. Opening all of them earns you the “Crate Expectations” trophy/achievement. These containers only appear during Leon’s section of the game and look like large blue shipping crates. You won’t be able to open them right away; first, you must reach a specific point in the story where you obtain the Container Keys.

Since the game does not have chapter select and almost everything can be missed, it is a good idea to keep manual saves as you progress.

Getting the BSAA Container Keys

To unlock the containers, continue playing until you reach the Underground Parking Garage. Here, you will come across a flooded gate with a control panel that needs two batteries to work. Both batteries are story-related items, so you won’t miss them. One is found in the north-west area of the parking garage, and the other is located in the Sewage Facility.

After putting both batteries into the panel, the gate opens and gives you access to the next street area. From there, turn left and head toward Cedarbrook Apartments. As you approach the entrance, a cutscene automatically plays, and Leon receives the BSAA Container Keys. This moment cannot be skipped because it is part of the main story. Once you have the keys, you are free to go back and unlock all three containers.

When you get close to any of the containers, they will appear on your map, making them easier to locate.

Container# 1 – Main Road between Gas Station & Cedarbrook Apartments

The first container is found at the far east end of the main road. This road is between the Gas Station and Cedarbrook Apartments. At the point where the road ends, you need to climb up behind a parked truck to reach the large blue container. The container will be locked, and you need to use the keys you received from the cutscene to open it.

Container #2 – Central Camp

The second container is located at Central Camp. You will need to return there after getting the keys. Look around the corner near the tent to find the blue container waiting to be unlocked. Inside, you will also pick up a Repair Kit, which is required later to fix the Broken Signal Receiver, so this one is especially useful.

Container #3 – Applegate Hotel

The third container requires a bit more movement. On the main road between the Gas Station and Central Camp, find the large crane with a generator nearby. Use a fuel can on the generator to power it up. This action opens a gate beside it. You need to go through that gate and continue across the construction site. Keep moving on until you reach a ladder that leads underground.

After reaching the basement, follow the underground path carefully. It eventually circles back to the beginning area of Raccoon City. Outside the Applegate Hotel, you will see the final blue container. You probably passed by it earlier in the story, but couldn’t interact with it at the time because you didn’t have the keys yet. Now you can finally open it and complete the set.

Final Reward

Once all three BSAA Containers are opened, the Crate Expectations trophy/achievement will unlock. Just remember to grab the keys first and consider keeping separate saves in case you want to revisit certain areas.
