In ARC Raiders, collecting loot is one of the most essential parts of the game. Everything you find on Topside can be used to craft weapons, tools, and workstations, or even traded for coins. But there is a problem, as you keep collecting items, you will eventually have no space, both in your personal inventory (backpack) and in your stash back at Speranza. Expanding Max Stash Space – ARC Raiders
When you first start your exploration in ARC Raiders, you will be given 64 stash slots. In these slots, you can store the items and valuables that you got from the Topside. This amount is enough for you in the beginning. But as you progress in the game by completing more raids and collecting more items, your stash will start filling up quickly.
You can sell or recycle items to free some space from your stash, but that only helps for a while. To permanently expand your stash, follow these steps:
- Open the Inventory menu from the main screen.
- Click on the “Expand” button located at the top of the item slots, between the “Loadout” and “Stash” labels.
- You need to spend coins to buy extra slots and upgrade your stash capacity.
When you first upgrade the stash, it will cost you 5000 coins and give you 24 more slots, increasing your total to 88 slots. Each time you upgrade after that, the cost rises by 5000 coins. For instance, the second upgrade costs 10000 coins, the third costs 15000 coins, and so on.
The maximum stash size you can reach is 280 slots, which should be plenty for your needs.
Increasing Backpack Space
During raids, you might probably find yourself running out of backpack space if you are a hoarder and pick up every item you find. This problem requires you to upgrade your backpack.
You can upgrade your backpack space by using items called Looting Augments. These augments increase your backpack space, letting you extract more loot before running out of space.
There are a few different versions of Looting Augments below:
Looting MK.1 augment
This adds 8 extra backpack slots and gives you 1 Safe Pocket. You can craft it early in the game using your Workbench or buy it from Lance, the trader in the Clinic, for 1920 coins.
Looting MK.2 augment
This provides 12 additional backpack slots, 3 trinket slots, and 2 Safe Pockets. To craft it, you will first need to find its blueprint, or you can purchase it from Lance for 6000 coins.
