Threads of Time Unveils New Trailer Showcasing Eras, Heroes, and Intense Combat

Developer Riyo Games and publisher Humble Games have showcased the latest trailer for Threads of Time, revealing brand-new information about the game, including eras, heroes, and combat. The trailer debuted during the PC Gaming Show at Tokyo Games Show 2025. Threads of Time is a 2.5D love letter to JRPG classics, and it invites you to lead a party that bends time itself in engaging, turn-based combat. In Threads of Time, you will engage in strategic turn-based combat that allows you to bend time, chain combos, and outmaneuver time-twisted enemies. The trailer also introduces Rin, a kitsune ninja from 2400 AD whose illusions and blade arts can disrupt the flow of battle. The trailer shows us more of Himmenheim, a prehistoric town where Vikings and dinosaurs forge a shared civilization.

The trailer later jumps to 24 AD’s cyberpunk dystopia of neon rain and cameras to showcase another era of the game. The game will allow you to venture from era to era, curate your party of intrepid adventurers throughout history, and pull off impressive combos to defeat your enemies on the way to saving the past, present, and future.
