Indie game publisher The Retro Room Games has announced the launch of the Kickstarter campaign for its upcoming flying shooter Elland The Crystal Wars. The game is an unreleased first-person flying shooter for the Game Boy Advance, which was previously known as Dune: Ornithopter Assault.

Developed by Soft Brigade and owned by Cryo Interactive, Elland The Crystal Wars was canceled back in the early 2000s but is now coming to the portable console after 20 years. The game will be available in a physical cartridge box and an instruction booklet inside.

Elland: The Crystal Wars takes you on adventure-packed missions to defeat Trafford. Throw high damage bombs, long-range missiles, and unlimited ammo of Grays Cannon to defeat the enemy.

Set in a harsh desert world on the outskirts of the galaxy, Elland: The Crystal Wars is a game where players must defeat the aggressive Trafford, who seized the resources of the planet and used them for evil purposes.

The publisher has also stated that the game will have slightly new characters and dialogues to make it different from the original Dune IP.
