This guide will show you how to build roofs in Going Medieval, which is the new RTS available in Steam Early Access. While there are several crafting and buildings tasks in the game, one of them is to make roofs on your structures like houses.
Building a roof is one of the basic tasks in the game, which shouldn’t be a tricky task for most players. However, if you are still struggling to make a roof and put it over your house, read the steps below.
How to Build Roofs in Going Medieval
A roof can only be placed when you have built a house. After you have the walls around the house, you can now place a roof that supported on all the walls of the structure. The game will highlight what type of roof you can build and place on top of your house.
Now go to the base building and press F1. Depending on the materials you have in hand, you might be able to see the Wicker Roof option on the screen, which allows you to build and attach this type of roof on top of your house. Here you can decide what type of roof you want, and then drag the blueprint from one end of the wall to the other. All that is left is for your minions to complete the building process and craft a roof for your house.
Building a roof is as simple as this process, however, the game is still in Early Access and there is a tutorial system missing in the game. Roofs among other items can be tricky to build especially because of the lack of a tutorial section.
