How to Complete
When you reach part 2 of the game and get the fragment from the Lost Shrine, you will be able to start this quest. The quest can be started once you talk to the guard at the northern gate of the Village, who will tell you about the Shade that killed his wife and injured his child.
The shade can be found in the Northern Plains area near the wooden bridge. Roam around this area close to the bridge until the large Shade pops out and starts the fight against you. Your chances of the shade spawning are increased when you have slightly overcast conditions in the sky. If you are having trouble with the shade not spawning, exit the area and return after some time.
When the shade eventually shows up, defeat it and then return back to the guard in the Village to receive your reward for killing the Shade. The guard will then reward you with the Labyrinth’s Whisper weapon and 30,000 Gold.
