MISISFORUM has announced its next ultra-small form factor PC which will be powered by 10th Gen Intel Ice Lake processors. MINISFORUM will soon be launching their INDIEGOGO campaign for their upcoming DeskMini X35G PC which will be powered by an Intel Core i3-1005G1 Processor which is a dual-core CPU with Hyperthreading configured at a 15w TDP.
MINISFORUM is well known in the ultra-small form factor scene since 2012, bringing innovative designs to compact enthusiasts and office professionals. The MINISFORUM DeskMini X35G is a super small complete computer system. It is a perfect work from home PC that won’t take a huge amount of space.
The DeskMini X35G’s Intel i3 1005G1 Ice Lake is a 2 core 4 thread CPU with a base frequency of 1.2 GHz which boosts to 3.4 GHz. It is suitable for simple day to day use and work. The X35G comes with 16 GB DDR4 Ram running at 3200 MHz speed. Thunderbolt 3 is present here so you could, in theory, set up a nice docking station at home and at an office and just drag the unit back and forth.
For storage options, the X35G has a single M.2 2280 NVME slot supporting PCIe 3.0 4x with support for Intel Optane and according to the specifications provided by Minisforum, there will also be expansion support for M.2 2280 SATA and a 2.5-inch SATA SSD. For wireless connectivity, the Intel WiFi6 AX200 adapter is present. There are two Gigabit Ethernet ports present too.
For audio and video output, the X35 has HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort support that allows 4K video output at 60Hz, while the Thunderbolt 3 port is capable of 5K quality at 120 Hz. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack in the X35. For I/O, there are USB 3.1 Gen2 ×2, USB 2.0×2, USB-C×1, TF card Slot×1, and DC Jack×1.
The X35 will come with Windows 10 Pro installed. Right now, all we know is that the DeskMini X35G will be on offer in October via the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform. On the Minisforum site, there is a sign up for “Super Early Bird Notifications” but currently, there is no information about the price of it. You can check it out right now.
