Treyarch to Fix Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Numerous Online Issues

It has been almost a week since Call of Duty Black Ops 4 launched and it turns out that gamers around the world have been having a lot of problems in which network errors top the list. Apart from the obvious network issues, Black Ops 4 is also suffering from a major memory leak error which has been ruining the game for many players around the world.

Judging by the comments on this particular Reddit thread, players have been having a lot of network problems mostly relating to higher pings and other latency issues. It does not matter about how closer or farther the player is from the server, most of the players are experiencing higher pings than normal with Call of Duty Black Ops 4.

Treyarch is currently aware of this problem and they are working hard on fixing these issues. Recently, they launched a patch which was focusing on some network problems. These updates are focused mostly on making the game better throughout all game modes. According to Treyarch, the game is huge and the fact that players are playing it all over the globe is taking a toll on the servers.

However, they assured the fans that they are working hard to eliminate all bugs as soon as possible from the game so that the game plays in the way it is meant to be played. Their official words on this was

Now that we’re past the initial launch of the game, we are focusing on fine-tuning network performance around the globe, using the real-world data that we have collected. Over the course of the next two weeks, we will roll out several updates to our network setup that will continue to improve upon the experience of our players since launch. As we have always said, launch is just the beginning, and we’re committed to making Call of Duty Black Ops 4 the best-supported game we’ve ever delivered. This is a journey that will involve constant adjustments, improvements, and additions.

Just like all big title launches, these are temporary issues and we are hopeful that Treyarch will be able to fix them soon. Treyarch is fixing all major aspects of the game with smaller updates now and then so the game should be normal and playing to its full capacity in no time.
