TEAMGROUP Reveals T-FORCE CARDEA A440 PCIe 4.0 SSD with Interchangeable Heatsinks

TEAMGROUP COMPUTEX 2021

TEAMGROUP is known for creating some of the most innovating ram and storage solutions and their new product is no different. The leading memory maker has revealed its brand-new T-FORCE CARDEA A440 PCIe 4.0 SSD which comes with two different heatsinks. Gamers can change the heatsinks and switch between them at any time according to their own needs. Both of the heatsinks are TEAMGROUP’s own patented design and offer a different level of cooling.

The T-FORCE CARDEA A440 comes with the latest PCIe 4.0 configuration and offers blazing fast speeds of up to 7000 MB/S and 6900 MB/S read and write speeds respectively. Both of the patented heatsinks are included with the NVMe and players can easily switch between the two based on their performance needs. Despite being PCIe 4.0, the NVMe is fully compatible with the previous PCIe 3.0 interface ports.

The SSD is available in both 1 TB and 2 TB variations featuring the Graphene and Aluminum heat sinks. This is the industry’s first NVMe SSD that features interchangeable, patent-certified thermal modules. The layered and unique beveled surface of the ‘aluminum fins’ is specially designed to increase the heat dissipation area and is capable of reducing SSD temperature by up to 15%.

On the other hand, the ‘ultra-thin graphene heatsink consists of the best materials for thermal conductivity and can dissipate heat by up to 9%. Both of them are included with the A440 NVMe SSD and players can change their heatsinks according to their own needs to increase the cooling efficiency of the SSD. The aluminum fins heatsink is specially designed to reduce the thermal throttling during long gaming sessions that cause slowdowns.

The T-FORCE CARDEA A440 also comes with the latest RRL (Read Recovery Level) technology that can improve the SSD’s lifespan. It also features an optimized NVM Sets segmentation mechanism and PLM (Predictable Latency Mode) that reduced latency and read and write wear making sure that the NVMe performs for a longer period of time. The T-FORCE CARDEA A440 is slated to release worldwide in May 2021, and will come in the following two specifications:

ITEM SPEC MSRP (USD)
T-FORCE CARDEA A440 SSD 1 TB $ 229
2 TB $ 429

TEAMGROUP also recently announced its 2021 International Wallpaper Design Contest with a $3,000 creator PC prize for the winner. Previous releases by TEAMGROUP include the new 2021 range of T-Create products, XTREEM ARGB White and Delta Max White RGB SSD, Zeus Series memory modules, and T-Force Treasure Touch RGB SSD.
