Team Jade Announces its Next Flagship Shooter, Project Spectrum

FPS specialists at Team Jade have officially revealed their next flagship game called Project Spectrum at gamescom 2025 ONL. Project Spectrum blends tactical, squad-based FPS gameplay and asymmetric combat with an immersive, mystery-laden world. The developers showcased actual gameplay in its reveal trailer, and it seems like players will be able to play both as the monster as well as the soldiers hunting it.

Developed for PC in Unreal Engine 5, Project Spectrum will cast you into a world in shambles, ravaged by a radiant, reality-warping force known as Ember. Everything this Ember touches transforms into unknowable ways, and it leaves behind dangerous zones known as Ember Zones. Players deploy into the Ember Zones, leading high-risk missions as special Operatives and must recruit and manage a customizable squad of elite Agents. On these missions, you will obtain intelligence, neutralize threats, and uncover the secrets of the Ember.

Each mission will through players face-to-face with monstrosities created by the Ember and other hostile Agents. You will need to fight back by building and customizing your Agents by using coordinated team synergy, environmental awareness, and creative use of available items. Sanity is an important resource that depletes easily in the game, so you will need to be watchful of it. You will also fight Executioners, who are powerful beings with great agility and strength controlled by other players.

As of now, no further details about Project Spectrum have been announced, but we know that it is slated for a PC release. Additional information about the game will be announced at a later stage.
