Publisher GameMill Entertainment, alongside Peanuts Worldwide have announced the Nintendo Switch 2 release date for Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club. GameMill Entertainment is the publisher behind 2023’s disastrous Skull Island: Rise of King, but managed to release some decent games in the previous year, like Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny. Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club is already available on PC and is now expanding to Nintendo Switch with its latest release.
GameMill Entertainment makes the announcement just as 2026 is kicking off and new titles are being revealed for Nintendo Switch. So far, there has been no word on a Nintendo Direct, but solo developers and publishers have been announcing Nintendo Switch releases. Nintendo Switch releases tend to take some time for almost all modern games, as developers tend to focus on mainstream consoles and PC first, and after their release, they shift their focus to the Nintendo Switch version. This seems to be the case with Snoopy & The Great Mystery as well.
Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club Nintendo Switch 2 Release Date Confirmed
Developed by Cradle Games, Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club allows players to play as Snoopy, where they must put on their detective cap and solve some clever puzzles. The game mixes exploration, puzzle-solving, and hidden mysteries set around the local town. Players will also interact with the Peanuts gang, who will be more than happy to provide their help in different cases. The game also allows players to swap between different Snoopy personas while playing a large variety of mini games.
The Nintendo Switch release of Snoopy & The Great Mystery will include both a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition. The Standard Edition is exclusively digital, while the Deluxe Edition will be available digitally and physically. It will ship with an exclusive Joe Cool outfit for Snoopy, two additional Red Baron mini-games, two additional Peanuts soapbox racing mini-games, and 75 full-color comics available to read inside the game. The Deluxe Edition content is also available standalone as the Joe Cool Fun Pack.
GameMill Entertainment has been on a rocky journey for the past few months, with their releases tanking the scores. One of their most recent releases is Hot Wheels Let’s Race: Ultimate Speed, a video game take of the Netflix show, but it managed to completely skip under the radar and literally no one knows about this game. The few who purchased it did not like it either. On the other hand, the PC Steam release of Snoopy & The Great Mystery is sitting on a decent Positive score, with many players liking the game.
If the Nintendo Switch 2 version is anything closer to the PC Steam release, it will be a fun and wholesome release. Games like Snoopy & The Great Mystery are perfect for Nintendo Switch 2 because they sit right into the vibe, and these short games can be completed easily, whether you are on a bus or somewhere other than your home. These games do not require the focus or gameplay skills of most games, making them an excellent addition to the Nintendo Switch library. The ultimate success will depend on how well-optimized the version is when compared to the PC version.
