Japanese developer Pocketpair has officially announced Palworld: Palfarm, a farming spin-off based on its hit monster-catching open-world survivor crafting game Palworld. Apart from this, the studio has also announced a collaboration between Palworld and ULTRAKILL, developed by Arsi Hakita Patala, published by New Blood Interactive. As part of this collaboration, exclusive ULTRAKILL items are arriving in Palworld soon.
Check out the Official Reveal Trailer for Palworld: Palfarm below:
Palworld: Palfarm is bringing the world of Palworld into a brand-new farming experience with mysterious creatures known as Pals. The game takes place on a new island where you and your Pals will work together to till the fields, cook, craft, and build the farm of your dreams. Each Pal will come with its own unique strengths and weaknesses, and you will use them in jobs that suit their nature. Pals come with unique abilities that will come in handy in different tasks like sowing seeds, watering the fields, or even harvesting once the crops are ready.
As you grow and expand your farm, you will deepen the relationships with the island residents and Pals through daily conversations and gift-giving, and you may discover unexpected, special stories unfolding. While it is mostly a peaceful and cozy farming experience, there will be some Pal battles when a nasty Pal comes around and wreaks havoc in your farm. At this point, you will use your Pals to defend your farm in battles.
You will also visit the local market to buy and sell crops or crafted items, which may result in you getting your hands on some rare items. The game also supports multiplayer, so you can invite your friends along and build your farm together.
Pocketpair has also announced the Palworld x ULTRAKILL collaboration. As part of this collab, weapons and gear from ULTRAKILL will arrive in Palworld, and this fusion of stylish, over-the-top action and carefree life with Pals will deliver a chaotic new gameplay experience. Both games fall at opposite ends of the spectrum, where Palworld is a slow-paced game where players explore a vast world and do different tasks like crafting, building, and farming with their Pals. They can capture and challenge other Pals, but the battles are not that chaotic.
On the other side, ULTRAKILL is an ultra-violent retro FPS with the tagline: ‘Mankind is dead. Blood is fuel. Hell is full’. You can understand where we are going with this. You take control of the combat machine V1 and use it to annihilate the forces of Hell in high-speed action, and use the blood stolen from enemies as energy. The new collab seems to be an interesting one, and if you have been playing either game recently, it will surely bring an interesting change of pace for you.
Palworld: Palfarm is slated for release on Steam PC soon. A release date is not known at this point. A Steam page for the game is now live, where you can add it to your wishlist. Palworld is currently available on PC via Steam, PS5, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Mac. ULTRAKILL is currently available on PC via Steam.
