How to Get the Paraglider in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Paraglider makes things way easier in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom when it comes to quickly coming down from great heights. Like in Breath of the Wild, the Paraglider was a savior for players as it gave an easy way of flying down from a tower, or mountain, without having to worry about climbing down manually. This guide will show you how to get the Paraglider in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, and how you can pair it with the Ascend ability to make traversing even more easy and fast.

How to Get the Paraglider in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Paraglider will be a necessary item when it comes to revealing Skyview Towers. These towers reveal the world map as you interact with them, showing the vast land of the game, the paths, and the locations that would otherwise be hidden behind a cloud.

When you start with the story of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, make sure that you pursue “The Kingdom of Hyrule” questline as soon as possible. At some point in this quest line, you will climb out to the lake just below The Temple of Time. You now have to go to a location called Lookout Landing, which will be marked on the map with a yellow marker.

Here you need to talk to Purah to start the “Crysis at Hyrule Castle” part of the questline where you have to go to a newly marked location to meet Captain Hoz. After you have seen what has happened there, report back to Purah and she will ask you to explore the area while she prepares for the next objective in the quest.

Take your time here to talk to the people around in the Lookout Landing, and then make your way to the Emergency Shelter, followed by going into the Skyview Tower on the northwestern part of the Lookout.

Inside you will find Purah, who will show you how you can reveal the map by interacting with the various Skyview Towers, while also giving you the Paraglider before you head out towards all the towers.

With the Paraglider, you can easily leap off high areas, especially the Skyview Towers after you have interacted with them, making it very easy to scale down. Pairing this item with the Ascend ability which lets you teleport to high regions like ceilings, will make movement that much easy and time-saving.
