While there are games like Fortnite that provide in-game chat options, others do not offer this functionality. Now there is a new Nintendo Switch controller that lets you ditch the phone app for Vivox-supported games.

The new controller has a headphone jack so you can plug in a headset and chat with your friends while you are playing a game. Fornite is one of the supported games. The Nintendo Switch controller is going to cost $24.99 and will be available for pre-order starting next month.

The controller looks similar to the pro controller but has two additional buttons. The company behind the controller is marketing it as “the best Nintendo Switch controller for serious gamers,”. Voice chat using the phone app is a major issue on the Nintendo Switch and it seems that Nintendo is not going to fix it. You will have to rely on other solutions such as this Nintendo Switch controller in order to make life a bit easier.

The controller is available in Red Camo and Purple Camo. Both look really good. Using shortcuts, you can control the volume and different audio settings which is a great feature to have. This will allow you to tweak audio settings without having to leave the game. The design is pretty clean and sleek and I am sure that people are going to be interested in buying this Nintendo Switch controller.
