Each Shell has its own class with different abilities that need to be unlocked. Depending on your playstyle preference, the game has a few Shells that give you different skills or abilities.

Harros, the Vassal
After the game’s tutorial and when you exit the cave to enter Fallgrim, go to the path on the left. To shell can be found right at the end of the path where it will be on the ground. Harros the Vassal shell gives you a handful of abilities, stamina and health that aids you pretty good in the early stages of the game.
Solomon, the Scholar
This Shell can be found right behind the Fallgrim Tower where it will be in a cave. This will be in the place where you fight the Grishna boss, and in the Grishna cave. Enter the cave and then head right to the end where you can get the Shell.
Eredrim, the Venerable
This is a highly durable shell that comes with the price of low Stamina. The shell itself can be found in the Fallgrim Outskirts where it will be at the Seat of Infinity temple’ entrance. To go to this location, head to the Grishna cave and then go to the right. This will bring you to some enemies. Continue ahead and you will find this Shell.
Tiel, The Acolyte
This is a lightweight Shell that gives you a lot of stamina at the cost of low durability and resolve. The shell can be found near the Crypt of Martyrs in the Fallgrim Outskirts. From there you need to go to the cave that has Ven Noctivagu.
