Below we have detailed how you can unlock Thanos in the game.

How to Unlock Thanos

The first thing you have to do is complete the story of the game. Beat the game in either the Mighty or the Friendly difficulty and let the credits roll when the game ends.

Once the credits are over, you need to go to the Infinity Trials, where you will spot a newly opened rift called Lambda. This rift has the toughest challenges to complete in the entire game. In the end, you have to fight a level 65 battle with all of the Black Order and various bosses.

Unlocking Thanos is tough and will require you to make your way through the entire Lambda map before you can even reach the final battle. To do that, you can either play through the trials on the left or right sides of the map to advance through, OR you can play the middle trails by locating their rifts in the Story Mode. If you do decide on the rifts, bear in mind that you have to play through on the Supreme difficulty.

Either way, it is a lot of grinding if you want someone as powerful as Thanos unlocked for yourself in the game. Thanos the Titan starts at level 65, which means that once you have him unlocked, you will be obliterating all the enemies that stand against you.
