Bonds are optional and are not tied to the main story, but give important rewards that many players will not want to miss.

As mentioned before, there are tons of Bonds that you can complete and get rewards from. However, some Bonds stand out the best from all others, massively helping you in the long run.

Barking Dog

The Barking Dog can be found Rakunai in Tearamachi, where you need to go to the Ebisu Pawn Rakunai. Here you will find a barking dog, triggering a cutscene with the dog. Your task here is to give bones whenever you pass through this area and meet the dog. You can purchase bones from the Pawn Shop nearby.

After you have delivered enough bones to the dog, you can then keep the dog as your pet.

Lucky Cat

The Lucky Cat is another pet that you can find a cat and a man next to the Ginryu Dojo in Karasuma Street in Rakunai. The task here is to give the cat some mon, where in this case is 1,100 mon and 1 ryo to complete the bond level.

Ecchudo Apothecary

Ecchudo can be found in Rakunai, where your task is to simply visit the character and complete the tests. It is recommended that you go in with full health, and after a few tests this task will be over.

The Filthy Cat can be found south in Fushimi. The task here is to clean the cat by giving it a bath three times to complete the bond. You will need to check on the cat a few times and with every visit, you need to take it to the bathhouse to get it cleaned.

Hungry Cat

The hungry cat can be found in an alley right at the center of the district in East Umekojicho. The task here is to visit the cat every time you pass by and feed it some fish. If you don’t happen to have any fish, you can purchase it from the fish shop in Fushimi street market.

Arms Dealer

The arms dealer can be found in Rakugai, and the task this character gives you is to purchase items from the shop as many times as you can. This will increase the friendship level. The injured dog is located on the first floor of Mukurogai, left from paradise. You need to give the dog a few health items whenever you pass through this area.
