LIAN LI has announced the launch of its brand-new 8.8” Universal Screen (US88v1). It is a versatile USB-powered secondary display that features a crisp 1920×480 IPS panel with a 60Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness. The screen is capable of displaying real-time system stats, media, or personalized content without occupying a GPU display output. It comes in white and black color options, so you can pick the one that suits your building and have a convenient display for the important stats and information that you need to know without going into too many menus or screens on your PC.
The screen is controlled with an L-Connect 3 and allows you to upload videos, images, and synchronize the built-in diffused ARGB lighting with your system. It comes bundled with an adjustable bracket that allows for tilt, rotation, and height adjustment on both the screen and the mount, with multiple mounting options. This includes placement on top of 120mm and 140mm fans, case panels, or adhesive attachment.
The included mounting bracket is designed with maximum versatility. It features a mini-LCD mount that can be positioned in three different locations behind the screen. The precise mechanism allows you to fine-tune the screen’s position inside the case for ideal visibility and alignment. The bracket can be attached with standard fan screws. You can also mount it on flat surfaces using the provided adhesive pad.
You can connect it through a 9-pin motherboard header or Type-A extension. This means that your display ports are free for your monitors. It is a plug-and-play screen and provides a clean solution for displaying your hardware statistics, custom media, or animated preset overlays without consuming GPU resources. Surrounding the display is a built-in ring of diffused RGB that provides ambient illumination to the 8.8” Universal Screen. Both the screen and lighting effects are fully controllable through L-Connect 3.
