Square Enix has announced that the Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience has been delayed yet again. It was supposed to release today however for some reason, it has been delayed and it will now release on January 23.
This is not the first time Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience has been delayed. Earlier it was supposed to released on December 25, 2018 but it was delayed until January 18. Now that the launch date is here, Square Enix has yet again delayed the VR experience 5 days and will release just 2 days before the release of Kingdom Hearts III.
If you do not know what Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience is, it is actually a VR experience set in the world of Kingdom Hearts and players will be able to experience different scenes, music videos and gameplay scenes from the entire series in complete virtual reality 3D. It is exclusively coming out on PSVR.
The best thing about the Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience is that it will not cost players a dime. It will be free for all players and everyone who own a PSVR headset can experience it anytime they want.
It is coming two days before Kingdom Hearts III now which means that fans who have been waiting for Kingdom Hearts III can experience the past titles in the franchise in VR before finally jumping in Kingdom Hearts III. This will be a good way to reminisce the good old days of the franchise.
Kingdom Hearts III is all set to release on January 25. Retail copies of Kingdom Hearts III were leaked very early however the developers had not patched in the ending movie in the game as a safety measure to control spoilers. Earlier, Square Enix announced the post-launch update schedule as well.
Kingdom Hearts: VR Experience is slated for release on January 23 now.
