Hollow Knight: Silksong Cling Grip Guide

The Cling Grip is one of the most useful abilities in Hollow Knight: Silksong because it allows you to cling to the walls to climb up them. Multiple locations all around Pharloom are much higher, and you cannot just jump to them. This is where the Gling Grip comes into play, as it allows you to jump from one wall to another by clinging to one. Cling Grip Guide – Hollow Knight: Silksong

To unlock Cling Grip, you must have access to Shellwood. This area comes after Bellhart and Greymoor. You can access Shellwood from both of these locations, and one of the paths also comes to this location directly from Bone Bottom. Arrive at the large area with the spiked rock in the middle and white flowers, and start making your way to the top. Use the white flowers and dive onto them to gain height and make your way to the top-right section of this area.

At the top, enter the right side corridor, and the next area. This is a huge area where the Cling Grip sits at the top, but you need to take a longer path to get there.

Continue heading right, and you will come across some water and white flowers. Keep heading right and you will arrive in the bench room.

In this room, head up and right. When you reach the elevator, take it down to the bench and save your progress because a boss fight is coming up next. When you want to proceed, use the elevator to go back up and continue moving right on your journey.

Use the platforms and go up and left until you arrive at the Sister Splinter boss arena. To progress, you will need to defeat the boss. Once the boss is dead, move left, and you will find yourself back in the large room where the ability is present, but this time around, you will be much higher.

To progress ahead, descend a little bit on the platforms, to go below the main platform, and then again up on the left side to reach another area. Circe around this area to reach the upper area and then exit on the right side to head back to the main platform, where the Cling Grip ability is present. Jump across the gap, and you will land on the main platform, where you can claim the ability and add it to your inventory. Now, you can use it to climb higher on walls where there are no platforms.
