Green hell, the popular survival game is all set to launch on Steam VR as confirmed with a release date trailer and announcement. Developed by Incuvo, Green Hell VR will launch on Steam VR in just under two weeks from now on 9th June 2022.
The Steam VR version of the game shouldn’t come as a surprise, especially considering that it became an instant hit when it was the VR version was originally launched on Quest 2 in April. Players who own a Steam VR will now be able to able to experience the survival game with a unique level of immersion.

Without giving too much, the trailer teases the plot of the game’s story, featuring the protagonist, Jake Higgins. The action-packed adventure game will have you take the role of Jake, who is on a mission to find his wife after being separated by mysterious events

After two years of work we are thrilled to launch our game on Steam. The decision to split the PCVR and Quest launches was right, over these few extra weeks, we managed to polish important elements in the game to make it worth the wait. We appreciate all the community support, those who have already been playing in Quest 2, and shared feedback – we thank you and hope you enjoy the PCVR version just as much.
If you are hearing for the first time about the game in VR, it features a wider terrain to explore, higher graphic fidelity, and of course, a different UI and mechanics that add to the immersion. The game itself includes 60 different gameplay mechanics for building, crafting, hunting, healing, and additional basic to complex tasks.

The original PC version of Green Hell has also launched on consoles this week with both the Spirits of Amazonia Part 1 & 2 expansions.
Green Hell was originally released back in 2018 in Steam Early Access, followed by a full launch in September 2019. Since then, the game made its way on consoles, has seen over 3 million players to date, received countless improvements, and has now made its way to VR.
