In this Fortnite Downtown Drop, LTM Challenges Guide, we will guide you on how you can complete the all-new challenges featured in the Downtown Drop LTM in Fortnite. Fortnite is known for its amazing collaborations as we recently had the John Wick LTM and before that, Avengers: Endgame LTM. The most recent collaboration is between Fortnite and Jumpman and it brings the brand new Downtown Drop LTM in the game.

In this latest LTM, players will be able to launch off huge jumps, collect coins and grind down city streets to win. Downtown Drop LTM comes with its own set of brand new challenges that players can complete to win the awesome Back Board Back Bling and different styles for it. Four special sprays are also up for grabs as rewards for completing the Downtown Drop LTM Challenges.

Our Fortnite Downtown Drop LTM Challenges Guide details everything that you need to know about completing Downtown Drop LTM Challenges in Fortnite.

Just like the previous LTM challenges, the complete set of challenges will be unveiled over the next few days. At this point, the following challenges are unlocked in the game and you can complete them all.

After you have completed one challenge, you will unlock the Back Board Back Bling along with a custom style. Complete more challenges and you will unlock more styles for the Back Board Back Bling. Complete all 13 challenges and you will unlock the ‘Sweaty’ style for the Back Board.

Challenge #1 – Change the color of 1000 tiles

To complete this challenge, you need to simply change the color of 1000 tiles. As you play the Downtown Drop LTM, walk over a tile and it will change its cover. You need to do this to 1000 unique tiles. Complete the challenge and you will win the ‘Rex’ style for the Back Board Back Bling.

Challenge #2 – Dance or emote between two food trucks

To complete this challenge, you must get between the two food trucks and perform any emote or dance move. The two trucks for this challenge are located at the end of the second hill in the LTM map. One of them is a small pizza van while the other one is a much bigger lorry. Check out the image below for reference. Complete this challenge to unlock GAMEFACE Spray.

Challenge #3 – Find Jonesy behind a fence

You will the location of Jonesy cutout behind a fence in the alley marked below. This is the first alley on the left side on the second hill going downwards. Enter this alley and go all the way to the end where you will find the cutout behind the fence. Complete this challenge to unlock Wings Spray.

Challenge #4 – Collect a basketball, coin, and shoe in a single match

You will find plenty of coins, basketballs, and shoes as you explore the LTM. Make sure that you collect one of each in a single match to complete this challenge. Complete this challenge and you will unlock ‘Slurp’ Style for the Back Board Back Bling.

Challenge #5 – Find Jonesy in the sewers

To complete this challenge, you have to enter the sewers and find Jonesy’s cut out. To get inside the sewers, start the map and jump down. Go down the first hill and turn right. Keep heading down further and at the end, turn right again.

Keep heading down until you will come to the sewer entrance in the middle of the road. Jump down and then follow the path all the way to the end. When you get to a T, turn left to find the cutout. Heading right will lead you to the exit. You will eventually find Jonesy behind the metal bars. Complete the challenge and you will be rewarded with G.O.A.T. Spray.

Challenge #6 – Search O-N-F-I-R-E Letters

To complete this challenge, you must find six hidden characters that spell out ONFIRE in the Downtown Drop LTM. You will find them scattered across the entire map. We have detailed the location of each character below.

These are not fixed locations for the letters. Depending on which sequence you collect them in, they might be out of order like below but the locations for the letters will always remain the same as well the order.

Letter ‘O’ – Right at the start of the level, go down the first hill and check on the left side across the truck and near the basketball court.

Letter ‘N’ – After picking up ‘O’, turn back and go down the main road while sticking to the left side. Reach the two food trucks at the end of this road and you will find the letter in the corner behind the pizza van.

Letter ‘F’ – Once you have picked up the last letter, head back to the main road and keep following it. When you reach the bottom of this road, you will come to a silver truck next to a yellow car. The letter is right here near the truck.

Letter ‘I’ – Now start heading down the final hill and at the bottom you will come to a red truck which has a crane attached to it. Go to the right side of this truck and you will find the letter ‘I’.

Letter ‘R’ – Now enter the elevator and take it to the top. Drop to the road again but quickly turn back around and go up. Look on the left side and the character is right there next to a red car.

Letter ‘E’ – Now go down the first hill, turn right and then start heading down the second hill. Stick to the right side and halfway down, you will come to a small staircase leading down next to a yellow rail. Go down and below you will find the final character in the room.

Search all six letters and you will complete this challenge. Upon completion, you will be rewarded with ‘Cuddle’ Style for the Back Board Back Bling.

Challenge #7 – Find Jonesy near the basketball court, near the rooftops and in the back of a truck

For this challenge, you will need to find Jonesy in three different locations. The first one is very simple to find. Head down the first hill and you will come to the basketball court at the end on the left side. Head inside to find Jonesy there on the south side.

Now towards his second location, this time you have to find him near the rooftops. This one is a little tricky and you will need to reach a much higher platform which is not very easily accessible using a ramp at the right speed and angle Start by heading to the second hill which is after you turn right from the basketball court.

Stop in the middle and look to the left side above to find a police car hanging there on a crane. Right next to it, you will find a coin behind a yellow rail. That is the location where you will need to get to find Jonesy.  You will need to use the ramp to get to the rail and towards Jonesy. it is a little tricky but with the right timing and angle, you can reach the rail easily.

For the last Jonesy cutout, you must find him at the back of a truck. For this, complete the lap and when you jump out of the elevator, quickly turn around and go back and enter the alley on the right side near one of the starting ramps. Head inside and you will find Jonesy behind a truck here.

Complete this challenge and you will unlock the ‘Banana’ Style for Back Board Back Bling.

Challenge #8 – Go faster than 30 through both speed traps

To complete this challenge, you must go faster than 30 mph through both the speed traps in the map. There are two speed traps in the Downtown Drop LTM. Every time you break the speed limit, the police siren will go off at each speed trap telling you that you have nailed the 30mph mark.

The first speed trap is located at the start of the map. Start heading down the first slope and turn right. Go down and you will find the speed trap on the left side. Avoid the jumps and ramps and you will be able to nail it. It is shown in the picture below.

The second speed trap is located at the end of the map right before the elevator which takes you back to the top of the level. Use the same strategy of avoiding ramps and other obstacles that slow you down and you will nail it just fine. It is shown in the image below.

Complete this challenge and you will win Slam Dunk Spray.

Challenge #9 – Hit any of the trickjumps on either the crane, elevated train or fence

For this challenge, you can hit any one of the three trickjumps in the Downtown Drop LTM. These three are the hardest jumps to land in the LTM. The first trickjump is right at the start of the map and it on top of the fence of the basketball ball at the left side of the bottom of the first hill. To get to the ramp, you will need speed and use the ramp right before the fence to land on it.

Head ahead and go down the third slope which is right after the food trucks. Before the bottom of the slope, stick to the left side and take the ramp which will allow you to get to the top of the balcony. Use the next ramp and you will finally land on the platform where the train is sitting.

Here you will need to use another ramp which will allow you to jump over the elevated train and complete the challenge. The starting location for this trickjump is shown in the picture below.

The last trickjump is located right before the end of the level. While going down the fourth and the final slope, you will notice a crane on the right side with a ramp right before it. Use the ramp and grind the top of the crane to nail this trickjump.

Complete this challenge and you will unlock ‘Kevin’ style for Back Board Back Bling.

Challenge #10 – Jump through all 6 flaming hoops

There are six flaming hoops in the Downtown Drop LTM map and you can easily jump through all six of them within 1 lap. The requirement for the challenge is simply to jump through all six flaming hoops.

You do not have to complete this in one lap. Just make sure that you jump through all six instead of jumping through the same hoop six times. You can jump through 1 unique flaming hoop in six different matches and it will still complete the challenge. The flaming hoops look like this.

Complete this challenge and you will unlock ‘Fishstick’ style for Back Board Back Bling.

Challenge #11 – Find 2 hidden shortcuts

To complete this challenge, you simply have to go through 2 shortcuts through the main course. We have marked some of their locations below. Any path you see which seems to take you somewhere is basically a shortcut. You will find plenty of sewer entrances, stairs, and shutters leading to different paths. You only need two of them to complete this challenge. Complete this challenge and you will unlock the ‘Drift’ style for Back Board Back Bling.

Challenge #12 – Dance or emote at the basketball court

The basketball court is located at the end of the first slope on the left side. Simply go inside the court and perform any dance move or emote to complete the challenge. Upon completion, you will unlock the ‘Disco’ style for the Back Board Back Bling. The basketball court is shown in the image below.

Challenge #13 – Spray an ice cream truck

To complete this challenge, you find to get to an ice cream truck and spray it. We have shown the location of one below. The truck is located on a slope so if you miss it while going down, you can use the Impulse Grenades to get back up and get near it to spray it. Complete the challenge and you will unlock the ‘Food’ style for the Back Board Back Bling.
