The brand-new partnership between Infogrames, a publishing label of Atari, and Apogee Entertainment is bringing its fruits to players in the form of the console launch of Wizordum. Wizordum is Apogee Entertainment’s fantasy FPS, and it is now available across platforms, thanks to Infogrames. Wizordum was previously a PC exclusive title, but now players on consoles can access it on their favourite platforms as well.

Wizordum is a retro-style FPS with a magical twist featuring pixel-art visuals. It casts the players as a powerful Mage on a quest to uncover the source of Chaos. As a mage, you are armed with an arsenal of maces, wands, spells, and other magic items. Using these items, you will battle your way through the world of Terrabruma in a dynamic blend of modern gameplay and classic 90s shooters. The battles take place across medieval and fantasy settings, as you fight traditional sword-and-sorcery enemies like goblins, skeletons, and ghosts.
If you are a console player, you can now explore the game’s treasure-filled environments, uncover hidden areas, solve mind-bending puzzles, and survive deadly traps. With diverse weapons, gameplay mechanics, and evolving challenges, you will need to stay sharp while exploring a richly designed world featuring the retro visuals of the 90s. Wizordum is the first title to arrive on consoles and marks the beginning of a broader initiative between Infogrames and Apogee to bring Apogee’s titles to modern consoles, both digitally and physically. Both studios are already working on additional titles, and future announcements will come soon. Wizordum is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and GOG. It will set you back $19.99.
