Z-Software GmbH has announced that it has expanded its team with the acquisition of Silver Seed Games. Z-Software GmbH is known for multiple titles such as Dustwind and Autobahn Police Simulator 2 and now it owns Silver Seed Games. Both companies have previously worked together on a lot of projects together however now they are part of the same company and will continue to work together on future titles as well.

Z-Software GmbH is a video game developer on its own, as well as the company, is known for titles such as Dustwind and Autobahn Police Simulator franchise. The studio was formed in Dortmund in 2008 and since then has been working as an indie video game developer. Apart from helping various developers around the world with their titles, the studio has released over 17 of its own video games for various platforms as well.

Silver Seed Games is basically an indie service provider formed back in 2013. It was formed by students of the Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg. Since the formulation of the company, Silver Seed Games has worked with various developers helping them out in their projects including Z-Software GmbH and Promotion Software GmbH. Their portfolio of companies also includes various automotive companies and public institutions.

Since Z-Software GmbH and Silver Seed Games have worked in the past on various projects together, they both agreed that the acquisition will be a step that will be beneficial for both the partners in this scenario. Andreas Heldt, CEO of Z-Software said:

We are pleased that our friends from Magdeburg have decided to join us. We appreciate the reliability of Silver Seed Games, that we have seen during our previous cooperation.

Enrico Gebert, CEO of Silver Seed Games also added:

With their latest acquisition, Z-Software GmbH has grown to 18 employees and they will be based in two different locations in Germany. We can expect the new team to work on existing projects as well as new projects in the future.
