Krakow Technology Park, the organizer of Digital Dragons 2021 has announced that the free registration and matchmaking platform for Digital Dragons Business Meet Up is now live with the first one taking place in May. The Digital Dragons Business Meet Up is one of the three Digital Dragons events planned for 2021 with the very first event taking place on May 13 and will be completely online.
Digital Dragons takes place every year in May however this year, the event is split into three independent events. The first two events Digital Dragons Business Meet Up and Indie Celebration will take place on May 13 and 14 online with the third and final main event Digital Dragons Conference will take place later on September 7-8, 2021.
The goal of the upcoming Digital Dragons Business Meet Up is to support game developers, publishers, investors, and other industry professionals in these challenging times and help them out in any way possible to face their challenges. Participation in the event is completely free and the organizers do not charge anything for the event.
The key element of the event will be a matchmaking platform for networking. Game developers and investors, publishers, and distributors will be able to arrange direct business meetings. Tags will help them find the partner that they are looking for with ease and make scheduling meetings more efficient. The event will be hosted on PINE: a comprehensive online event and matchmaking platform. Participants will be able to arrange 30-minute-long 1-on-1 meetings.
The event will also feature panel discussions with the invited special guests, and they will focus on business scaling and the M&A market along with industry transformation because of the recent global pandemic situation. Discussants in the panel will include Sebastian Wojciechowski – CEO of People Can Fly, Anton Gauffin – CEO of Huuuge Games, and Mihai Pohoncu – CEO of Amber Studio.
At the same panel, looking for different answers will be Shane Bierwith – Executive Vice President Maximum Games / Modus, Alessandro Bovenzi – Business Developer Manager All in! Games, Guillaume Jamet – VP, Head of Publishing Plug In Digital, Grzegorz Drabik – VP, Head of Portfolio Untold Tales. Apart from the panels and the Business Meetup, Digital Dragons will also host the Indie Celebration.
Indie Celebration is an international competition for indie game developers which offers them a unique opportunity for indie developers to present their games to a selected audience of industry peers, veterans, and experts along with winners getting prestigious rewards.
