CHUWI Aerobook is finally coming to market as a crowd-funding project on Indiegogo. It launched at 14:00 pm, February 27th UTC. During the pre-order period, 25% Early Bird discount has been provided and the 8GB + 128GB version of CHUWI Aerobook costs only $379 for the limited 200 sets!
CHUWI AeroBook adopts a 13.3-inch, 16:9 FHD full-view screen in a 12-inch form factor, so you get more screen with fewer bezels and the footprint is smaller. The bezel on both sides is only 5mm with more than 80% screen-to-body ratio, which provides an excellent immersive experience.
Meanwhile, the micro-bezel keyboard of CHUWI AeroBook has preserved the typing experience of a full-sized keyboard. The combination of ultra-narrow bezel screen and micro-bezel keyboard will definitely give you an unprecedented visual experience.
The AeroBook is equipped with Intel Core processor that runs at 2.2GHz. With 8GB RAM, daily processing should be more efficient and 128GB storage can easily handle office demands. The CHUWI Aerobook seems like a very premium product and something that could take on other premium brands. The price is pretty insane and if I can see this becoming a success in the future. The Core M processor might not do too much but if you are going to be doing word processing and consuming content then it will be enough for you.
