The Sims-Inspired Catizens Allows you to Create your Very Own Cat Colony

Catizens

Publisher HeroCraft PC and developer badopticsgames have revealed their RimWorld and The Sims-inspired title Catizens where you create and manage your cat colony. Catizens allows you to manage a colony made for cats where each cat has a unique personality and you help them grow, build, and expand their settlement while facing off against wildlife and environmental challenges.

Your main task in the game is to build the town around the personality traits of the cats. Each cat in the game requires personal attention and you must keep their personal interests and moods in perception when you create their colony. Depending on how happy you keep them, they will remain obedient, and it will also dictate their proficiency in doing various tasks. The cats also form relationships with their neighbors and will often send you personal requests.

You will need to learn what makes each cat happy and try to stay on their good side by fulfilling their requests. You have a decent assortment of facial and body features along with assigning them different personality traits to create cats with different looks and temperaments. Afterward, based on their personalities, you can design their homes and put different pieces of furniture, plants, and many different items to keep them happy.

After building one house, you can continue to expand your settlement. Each of the cats can learn various professions ranging from farming to blacksmithing or offering protection from wildlife. Different buildings that you build in the settlement unlock different types of traits and professions. As you expand your city, you can shift your focus on a few of the good cats in order to make them city leaders and this eliminates the need for micromanaging.

After you are done in the settlement, you can explore the nearby wilderness as well. Completing objectives will allow you to expand your settlement to new areas and while expanding, you can check your surroundings for additional activities such as fishing spots, hidden treasures, and random NPCs that may offer a quest. However, these are dangerous areas so make sure you have some wildlife management cats with you as well for exploration.
