The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom lets you craft many things, and one of those things is campfires. Campfires not only let you cook, but also make elixirs, and rest at the camp. This makes it an essential item and this guide will show you how to make campfires in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
How to Make a Campfire in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
A Campfire is pretty easy to make and it only requires a few common items that you can easily find in the game. The two ingredients to start a campfire are Wood and Flint. If you already have both items, go to your inventory and place them on the ground next to each other or on top of each other. Either way, you are ready to fire it up.
To ignite the campfire, you can use any incendiary item like bomb arrows, torches, or even fire fruit. But you don’t necessarily have to use a valuable item to ignite a campfire. Instead, you can strike the campfire with a metal sword, sending sparks and igniting the fire for you in less than a couple of seconds.
If you don’t have the materials to make a campfire, you can easily get wood from any tree by striking at it, while the Flint can be obtained from caves and near cliffs.
How to Use a Campfire
As mentioned before, campfires can be used to cook food, brew elixirs, and allow Link to rest. Resting allows you to fast-forward the game’s time from day to night, or night to day. This helps when you have quests that either require you to play them at night or if they have to be played during the day.
Campfires also let you make other items, like cooking food and making other consumables. Having a good supply of cooked meals ensures that you have enough healing items in your inventory before you head on to an unknown area, or when you are going to areas with a lot of enemies or a boss.
