Bloodstained Items Guide

Below we have detailed all the locations where you can find the various items in the game. Whether you are looking for items to create rings in the game, or need silver bromide to progress in the story.

Where to Find Silver Bromide

The first thing you need in order to get silver bromide is to gain access to Livre Ex Machina map. To get the map, you will have to defeat the boss that will give you the double jump skill. If you need help in this matter, read our Bloodstained Double Jump Guide.

Once you defeat the boss and have the map on your hand. You need to head down to the very end of the map where you need to fight another boss. When you enter the tower door, a boss will spawn and fight you. These are actually two bosses on the tower that you have to fight and defeat.

After the fight, use the hole in the tower the boss created to drop down. At the bottom will be a golden chest which will contain the silver bromide that you are required to have in order to progress the story of the game.

Where to Find Rubies, Emeralds, and Sapphires

As mentioned before, these gems are needed to create rings in the game. The first thing you need to do to find these gems is to get under the castle and enter the Forbidden Underground Waterway.

This area will contain a few Blue chests that will contain multiple gems. You can also come again for more gems in the same chest if you teleport and come back again to tis location. You can continue this step to get even more gems.

How to Get the Giant Hand

The Giant Hand is a craftwork shard that is required for the progression of the game as it allows you the ability to move giant statues. When we say you need it to progress in the story, you actually need it to get past Iron Maiden in the Garden of Silence.

Now in order to get the Giant Hand, you need to enter the Dian Cecht Cathedral where you will have to fight the Craftwork boss. This boss is a mosaic and color spider enemy that you have to defeat.

This boss has a lot of HP and is weak to Blunt damage. It’s best to use your bungs kicks and whips. You can also go with a weapon that deals Blood damage. Once you have defeated the boss, you will obtain the Craftwork shard. This will allow you to move large statues that block your path in the castle.

How to Get Bovine Plume

You can upgrade your double jump ability with the help of Bovine Plume. With the help of this item, you can jump even higher after you upgrade it with the Shard. Though it is a common item, it is only dropped by specific enemies.

To get Bovine Plume, you need to find and fight a boss named Haagenti. This boss can be found in a room of Oriental Sorcery Lab. Getting in this lab requires you to first defeat the Inferno Cave boss which gives you the invert.

The invert is needed to solve the spike puzzle, which will get you past the spikes and to Haagenti. This boss is also quite good for farming items as you can defeat it, and re-enter this area multiple times to farm materials.
