Exit Plan Games has rebranded its action-packed 3D platformer Bang-On Balls: Chronicles to Bang-On Cubes: Chronicles. According to the studio, this comes after hours and hours of thorough focus tests, and more time spent evaluating the results. The conclusion: players want to control cubes instead of balls.
This will grant them a more immersive, enjoyable, and emphatic experience. This decision was backed up by an independent team of psychologists who confirmed the validity of the results. We also firmly believe that the new physics model that naturally comes with the cubed shape of characters is more in line with modern, mainstream game design philosophy.
