Sometimes on these places, you will also find these legendary chests marked with a blue icon. Open them up and you will always find a legendary item in them. Legendary Chests Guide – Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Legendary Chest # 1

You will find a legendary chest located on the small island between Samos Island and Chios Island. Head to the nameless island located on the extreme eastern edge of the game and enter the Temple of Poseidon. Head to the island and you will easily spot the legendary chest.

Legendary Chest # 2

You will find a legendary chest just north of the Thera Island. As you get near to the location, a question mark will pop on the location marking its proximity. Use Ikaros to pinpoint its location and dive in the water to collect it.

Legendary Chest # 3

You will find a legendary chest in Messara in Little Egypt. Head to the left side of the Zues’s Playground where the island forms sort of a fork. The chest is located on the right part of this split.

Legendary Chest # 4

Head to the Dioskourio Peninsula and make your way to the bottom left side of the island. Once there, you will need to dive in the water. This is on the left side of the big mountain, which you can see when you open your map. A small island is also located on this chest’s left side, a little above from it. A question mark will be revealed here once you get close to the area.

Legendary Chest # 5

Head to Sparta in Lakonia and make your way to the north-west side of the town. You will find the chest in the Temple of Athena. Head to the Temple of Athena Chalkiokos synchronization point and make your way to the base of the statue of Athena where the chest is sitting.

Legendary Chest # 6

Head to Makedonia and head towards the question mark near the coastline. In this case, you cannot just head straight to the question mark and find the chest; you will need to enter a cave on the island to access the underwater cavern where the chest is lying.

The entrance to the cavern is essentially a hole in the ground right above the name of Peninsula on the map. Use the ladder to get inside and then head straight. Use the left path and then head straight until you arrive at a pool. Jump down and you will reach the chest.

Legendary Chest # 7

Head to the Temple of Golden-Bowed Goddes located in Mallis. If you have unlocked the Ruins of Artemis fast travel point, you can use it to quickly reach this temple. You will encounter some huntresses here to come prepared. The chest is sitting in the open but you will be required to kill the enemies before.

Legendary Chest # 8

On the island of Kos, located in the Sporades. Once there, head to the middle of the island where you will come Artemisia fort. The chest is located on the northern section of this fort. Ikaros will help you spot it.

Legendary Chest # 9

Find Agamemnon located in the Argolis region. Once you find the palace, climb to its roof and then use the holes there to access the inside of the palace. You will find the chest sitting inside.

Legendary Chest # 10

You will need to head to Temple of Demeter for another legendary chest. It is located on the west side of Sanctuary of Athena Polias synchronization point. As soon as you enter the temple, you will find the chest sitting inside it.

Legendary Chest # 11

Your next destination is the Andania Mine. To find it, go to the Temple of Zeus synchronization point and you will find the Andania Mine in the south in the Messenia region. From the Temple, head south to find two entrances of the mine. You can take the left one, follow the path and then turn right from here. You will end in a big room with some stairs and a scaffolding. Head to the left side of this room to find the chest.

Legendary Chest # 12

Head to the center of Exile Hills and you will come across Hades’s Bident. This is located in the west side of Messenia. Head to the Mount Ithome Fort from the Vista of Pylos and make your way to the northeast section of the fort. There you will see a stone house. Enter it and find the chest located in a side room.

Legendary Chest # 13

You will find another legendary chest located in Koinyra Fortress. If you do not know where it is, head to the Island of Thasos. You can fast travel there and then head to the northeast section of the island to find this fortress. This is not an abandoned fortress rather you will find it heavily defended. Make your way to the roof using the rope and then find the small opening, which will allow you to get inside. The chest is right in this room.

Legendary Chest # 14

Another legendary chest is located inside Olynthos Fortress. Head north of Makedonia where you will find this heavily guarded fortress. The best way to enter this fortress is from the north side. You will find the chest inside one of the houses from this side.

Legendary Chest # 15

You will find another legendary chest in the Lavrio Silver Mine located in Attika. You will find these mines in the southern section of Attika. Enter the mine and reach the end where you will need to climb some stairs and a wall. You will find the chest above on a platform.

Legendary Chest # 16

Another legendary chest is located in the Akropolis of Argos. Head to the city of Argos in Argolis and travel to the Temple of Poseidon. Head west to find Akropolis. Head inside and turn right to find the chest sitting there.

Legendary Chest # 17

For the next legendary chest, fast travel to Megaris city point in Attika and start heading east. You will arrive at Eleusis Telesterion eventually where you will find a big temple. Head inside this tomb to find two statues at the entrance to another structure. Head inside the smaller tomb to find a legendary chest.
