Anzu Teaming Up with APB Reloaded to Bring In-Game Ads into the Gameplay

Anzu APB Reloaded

After their previous partnerships with Vivid Games and Toplitz Productions for in-game ads, Anzu has now announced a brand new partnership with APB Reloaded. APB Reloaded is a free-to-play MMO shooter that is currently available on PC, Xbox One and PS4 and with the newly formed partnership, Anzu.io will help the developer display ads in the game. The integration of Anzu’s platform into the game will make the game accessible to some of the biggest advertisers worldwide.

APB Reloaded was published by Little Orbit and currently boasts over 10M players. With the new partnership, Anzu and APB Reloaded will work exclusively to distribute banners and videos across different in-game objects. This means that players will get to experience a more realistic San Paro city where the advertisements are from the real-world. Anzu will utilize existing in-game objects with displaying ads such as billboards, bus stops, vehicles, and many others.

Co-founder and CEO of Anzu, Itamar Benedy commented on the newly formed partnership:

Gaming has seen a massive boost in recent years and is particularly relevant now amidst the Covid-19 outbreak and subsequent social distancing directives. APB Reloaded, one of the world’s premier MMO shooter games, is no exception. This cult favorite is the ideal environment for Anzu’s immersive brand ads.  Advertisers, on the neverending quest to reach relevant audiences at the right times, are beginning to consider gaming, along with outlets like TV and social media advertising, as a mainstream choice in the growing menu of digital advertising channels. This partnership with APB Reloaded comes at the perfect moment–a time when more advertisers than ever are looking to go in-game, and gamers are on the hunt for more realistic experiences.

Little Orbit’s Matt Scott also added:

APB Reloaded was always designed with immersion in mind. From the unrivaled customization system for cars and characters to the buildings and alleyways of San Paro. This means that our players come looking to escape into a world that feels authentic. I’m excited to see what Anzu can add with their in-game advertising technology. My hope is to create a more realistic experience that features brands players know and recognize but in a natural, non-intrusive way. This will help add immersion while allowing us to partner with advertisers to create revenue that doesn’t come from the gamer’s pockets.

Anzu.io is currently the only in-game advertising platform to achieve the highest security standard certification ISO 27001 which makes it a great in-game ad platform for APB Reloaded.

  1. “APB Reloaded was published by Little Orbit and currently boasts over 10M players.”

Please use realistic (current) population stats. It certainly isn’t the game it was back at it’s peak in 2012 and as for population numbers playing the game back then, the facts are that numbers generated where from banned players returning over and over and having a multitude of accounts to circumvent bans as the game was infested with cheaters. No way was there ever 10 million players playing at it’s peak, more like the same players with accounts after accounts after accounts etc…

As for adding in game advertisements, well no one likes ads anyways and it’s not like anyone it’s going to pay that much attention on a game like that, their awareness is way to busy trying to look out for the enemy and kill them before they get killed and win the mission. Well the legit players attention needs to be spot on, the cheaters (which there are still in game and playing) doesn’t need that much attention as their cheat works for them.

Good luck though but I still have that old saying coming to mind…

They’re trying to flog a dead horse.
